"No. 2"
I waited and i waited
until the long wait's
almost over.
And over and over I
waited until I almost
couldn't wait any longer.
So long that daybreak
is coming and my hair's
already mussed up.
Up in this hill of love
that's becoming hellish
in every tick
of that lazy clock;
As i clock my patience
that's already wearing thin.
But not as thin as I
thought it would run out
and out I go down
without even seeing your
pleasant countenance.
Not without savoring
the forbidden moments
that you and I can't forbid;
the moments when kisses
seem an endless stream
that ending it would
stop the fastest beating
of our hearts.
Our hearts, our already
tied-up hearts.
